20ft Shipping Container Racking Kit — Single Bay 3-Tier

Convert your single bay, three-tier steel racking kit is purpose-built for standard 30ft and 40ft containers.

Each kit covers one side of the container. Order two kits to rack both sides. In addition, the end wall of a 20ft container provides enough clearance for racking. Therefore, pair this kit with our three-tier racking for rear of container to maximise every available wall.

All steel components are powder coated in blue and orange for a tough, scratch-resistant finish. Each supports up to .

Racking Specifications

Container Compatibility — Maximum Bays Per Side

This racking suits standard ISO Series 1 freight containers. Moreover, multiple kits run side-by-side in longer containers to cover the full wall length.

Note: Racking mounts on both side walls and the end wall. However, the end wall requires our dedicated rear-of-container racking kit. Therefore, this side-wall kit is not designed for end wall installation.

Assembly Overview

The end frames arrive pre-assembled. Therefore, on-site setup is fast with no specialist tools required.

Step 1 — Position the End Frames

Stand both end frames upright along the container side wall. Space them 2250mm apart.

Step 2 — Slot in the Beams

Slot two beams per tier into the corresponding height holes on each end frame. Furthermore, repeat for all three shelf levels.

Step 3 — Attach Safety Clips

Clip the safety clips onto each beam end. As a result, the beams are locked and cannot dislodge under load.

Place the onto each beam pair. The shelves sit flat and are ready to load immediately.

How Many Kits Do I Need?

This kit covers one side of the container with a single two kits to start both side walls. Additionally, order up to four kits total to fill all two bay positions on both sides of a 20ft container. For complete coverage, add our rear-of-container racking kit for the end wall.
