Humidity is the Brisbane problem

Warm humid air enters during the day, then moisture condenses on the ceiling and walls as the container cools overnight — sometimes called container rain. It is the most common complaint we hear from customers storing anything moisture-sensitive in Queensland.

Condition grades
New one-trip units present close to new and suit visible or converted applications. Wind and watertight used containers are structurally sound with cosmetic wear, and are the value option for storage. Cargo-worthy units meet a higher standard for onward shipping. Brisbane City Council and the surrounding South East Queensland councils each set their own conditions for containers on residential land, commonly covering how long a container may stay, where it may sit relative to boundaries, and whether it is visible from the street. Longer-term placements are more likely to need approval. Confirm with your council before ordering if the container is staying.
